The Hanoi Bike Shop

For the fifth and final blog post, I am joined with Hannah!

Today we took a visit to The Hanoi bike shop.  The Vietnamese restaurant offers a wide selection of different classic Viet foods- from Pho to Bánh. Inside it is very well decorated, creating a cool laid-back vibe.

The main menu- containing many different types of dishes which were all very tempting to try, because of their wide selection, they offer a Banquet Experience. Each person gets 3 dishes each and you tell the waiter about any dislikes or allergies, and they choose the dishes for you.

The dishes we received were the Jungle mussels, Soya Bean and Daikon cakes, Bavette Steak, Chicken Ca Ri, Green beans and water chestnut, Vermicelli noodles and carrots and finally some Jasmin rice. Personal favourite was definitely the Jungle Mussels!

Loads of food- definitely felt like a banquet.

It was such a good way to try new types of food that we wouldn’t particularly order in the first place.  All the food was so flavourful and tasty!

We ordered some Lychee lemonade to wash down the salty food, they were so refreshing. If you decide to visit definitely order the lemonade and the Vietnamese iced coffee- they are a must!

The Banquet experience usually costs £30pp, however Hannah and I work in hospitality therefore qualified for their Hosp discount. This reduced the cost to £20pp- which I think is great for the amount of food you receive.

The Hanoi Bike shop is a great place for us student to go to destress and get a good meal, I would recommend to all

The ratings…
