The Locale

To start off today’s blog I am joined with Kate and Marley the dog!

On Tuesday night we went down to The Locale to try out their Taco Tuesday menu!

I had heard about this weekly menu before and that it was student friendly, but I wasn’t going to believe this until I tried it- so here we are…

The Locale- located near Charring Cross in Glasgow is a super cool dive bar that offers a great selection of food and cocktails.

The Taco Tuesday menu is a fantastic deal! £3 tacos- wide selection of flavours and £3 frozen margaritas.

The tacos Kate and I chose where the Pork Carnitas and the Baja Fish- both tasting amazing and so flavourful for the price. We decided to order a couple of sides too- going for the Chicken Asada loaded fries (£6) and the bangin’ potatoes (£5). The side portions were huge- would be perfect to order just themselves if you are looking for a quick bite.

 

To wash down our food we got some cocktails of course- I went for the frozen Marg and Kate going for a spicy tequila coconut drink- may have forgotten the name….

 

Food and drink was all ordered by an app system so traditional face-to-face interaction with staff was minimal but when experienced was friendly. Food came out fast which was great for us as we were starving!

 

So, our taco Tuesday night for the two of us was £13.50 each, which I think is a great value for money.

Would definitely tell everyone to visit The Locale- especially on Taco Tuesdays. Bring your dogs too!
