Fat Lobster

To Start today’s blog- I am joined with my beautiful mum, Louise!

 

Today’s birthday special blog took us to Fat Lobster. The new seafood restaurant located in Glasgow city centre, was opened in May 2022. Fat Lobster gave a laid back, high dining experience when we visited.

 

We ate around 2 o’clock, so we were in perfect time to order from their lunch menu. The menu consists of 6 different seafood options and the deal is 3 for £15.

 

Off the menu we selected the Whitebait, Fried baby squid and the aioli mussels. We also chose to add on couple of oysters each and a cod and fennel slaw taco.

The food was unreal, so fresh and tasted amazing. Portion sizes where great- we both agreed the lunch time deal would still be amazing on it’s own without adding any extras.

 

We had to order some cocktails for the occasion- my mum going for the Hot Toddy and myself a Mezcal Basil smash- both equally as amazing!

 

Of course, we had to get a dessert to finish the meal, so we shared the chocolate ganache with a raspberry sorbet- the chocolate was so rich but balanced perfectly with the light fruity sorbet.

 

 The bill came to £56- which I think is very reasonably priced as everyone knows the price of seafood right now can be through the roof. 

Everything was spectacular and I couldn't recommend Fat lobster to others enough!
